I'm lucky enough to work at Serenbe -- thanks for visiting us; so glad you enjoyed it. If anyone's interested in visiting, go to www.serenbe.com. Like Ben mentioned, we have an 18-room Inn, plus 3 critically-acclaimed restaurants (our bakeshop is the smallest Silver LEED certified building in the nation), 2 art galleries, fun shops (including an eco-lifestyle boutique opening in April), and gorgeous countryside. Come visit!

I want to know all about the house designs. I can't afford to go there. I have wicked good ideas and I am sure they checked out Biosphere II, at least I hope so, and the cool stuff in Popular Mechanics Magazine - there was a total re-use recycle everything house that used the gray water for the plants & had tanks of water and windows rigged to control the house temperature.
