I remember reading somwhere that Compact Fluorescent Bulbs should be specially disposed of. That fact is not shared with consumers. While CFBs last longer, they will eventually need to be replaced and disposed of. Great suggestions for a great cause! Even using a laptop over a desktop can have a drastic difference (63 watts vs 118 watts in idle mode). These are some things to think about.
