Hi Mark!

It's so exciting to read about the launch of YERT -- I loved the trailer and 'pick a car' videos and I'm eager for more.

Sounds like you could use an additional editing team, just to help keep up with all of the great coverage you're collecting.

Maybe 'group-sourcing' is the way to go ... a la MediaVolunteers.org, where people volunteer from home when they've got 15 minutes to spare, and help build, collectively, a current media database (http://www.volunteermatch.org/results/org_detail.jsp?orgid=47034). I suppose that would be hard to do with video editing, but it's a fun thought.

It looks like you're heading soon to Maine. I want to encourage you to hook up with some old friends there -- Jessica Lockhart, of WMPG FM, one of the most vibrant community radio stations in the country -- (www.wmpg.org); and Rob Rosenthal, audio instructor at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies (http://www.salt.edu/). They're both award-winning audio producers, sustainability advocates, and very fun people. I'm sure they could help plug you into the sustainability networks there.
